Thank you for the kind words, everyone!

So, there is a little biography info about Those Notho…
Those Specimen was “discover” and export from an Expedition in Tanzania
by two Russian men(S.Torgashev and Shidlovski) and a Bulgarian(K.Kardashev) in ‘2005 year.
The last year, a friend of mine – Vasko Gogov, had buy a pair of this Nothos, visiting the Killi Show in Odessa(UKRAINA).
You’ll see this Pair in my photo reportage from our KAB Killi international Exhibition'2007
The upper Pair, from my “Valentine’s” post…is the next fry.
Here is the bigger photo of a male, and the name I know about is just:
Nothobranchius sp. Kiziko TAN 05 RB
Would be glad to hear your opinion about…

Anyway, I’m glad you like my photos! :P

Hi Hristo,

your pictures...! I'm deeply impressed. How do you get every single detail that sharp? Why's there not the slightest bit of dust at the glass?
It's just fascinating! (And, of course, a very nice story!)

Hallo,
the big Kiziko-Notho is close to melanospilus, but I agree with Steffen that we should use the term "affin" or "aff." together with this name until we have a scientific result.

Here is an interesting feedback of my question in Spanish EL KilliCLUB forum:

earwig hat geschrieben: According to AKA information the species stands as N.sp.aff.melanospilus TAN 05/47. And was part of a collecting trip where 7 different nothos were collected from 2 seperate sites 05/47 and 05/48 per the aka's killitalk. Also per killitalk :

For the time being, you should refer to that Notho as: N. aff. melanospilus
Kisiko TAN RB 05-47 or simply N. species Kisiko TAN RB 05-47.

Incidentally, it is not that "new". We have collected it on numerous
occasions in the Ifakara area (Kibasira Swamp) going back as far as 1995,
and on Mafia Island in 2002.

It is presently undescribed but a description is in the advanced stages of
preparation. Obviously, I cannot tell you what its name will eventually be.

I hope that this helps

Regards
Eric
