Re: breeding bochterly.herzogi
Hi ad,
perhaps you could tell us the ways you try and fail. So we can make a better feedback.
Mostly there is more than one way to do it. In my opinion there is no cooking recipe for breeding fishes.

Re: breeding bochterly.herzogi
Hi ad,
did you develop the eggs in water? with or without fungizid medicine? Or dry?
Is your rain water really clean? carbon filter?

Re: breeding bochterly.herzogi
I have herzogi and keep them in natural set up in rain water with a ppm less than 50 and pH slightly below 7.0 . If you can have rain water ,don't put your money in osmose water system.

Re: breeding bochterly.herzogi
I don`t see anything that could be the reason for failing. It´s difficult. How old are the fishes?

Hi,
if you live in Amsterdam, you can catch your own food.
I always went to the Erasmuspark to catch Daphnia and Cyclops.

Re: breeding bochterly.herzogi
Certainly in some of your "Grachten" you can find something adequate .
