Trip objective: Examination of the state of the Ciprinodontidae populations, collecting Cypinodontidae and Cyprinidae in the Turkish Republic.
Distance travelled: Roughly 4.500 Km.
Number of localities sampled: 20
Dates and trip length: From October the 2nd until October the 12th, 2005. 11 days.

Results: Around 500 individuals of Cyprinidae, Cobitidae and Cyprinodontidae were collected and fixed in alcohol and formaline for the “Museo Nacional de Ciencias Naturales” (MNCCNN) from Madrid (Spain), around 180 live individuals Aphanius were also collected.
